Dear Friends,
Remember when the New York Times came to LIVE Happy Hour in Ann Arbor and geezermania swept the nation?
A word about the new documentary released on events surrounding the time a few years back when Geezermania swept the nation. As you may recall, it caught the attention of various local and national journalists, news reporters, television and radio shows.
One of the filmmakers who showed up at that time was a young documentarian, Jason Cooper, from Michigan with his own stable of films in Los Angeles under the name King Toledo Productions. One of his ideas is a pilot for a series called Geezers, where each episode features a, well, different geezer and how they stave off the ravages of old age.
While I am at the center of the narrative here, I think you will recognize the beauty of our scene in general, as well as many of yourselves in this lovely documentary.
Best, Randy
